The atmosphere at this hostel is absolutely spectacular, managing to achieve the best of both wolrlds - it's simultaneously easy to meet and socialize with other travelers, or to have some space to yourself when you want it. There are truly few accomodations in the world where I've felt more comfortable. Pair that with its fabulous location in Meteora, and I found myself staying almost a week in a place I had meant to be in for less than 48 hours. The facilities are exactly what I hope for whenever I visit a new hostel. The common area is comfortable and spacious with plenty of tables and seating, there's a well-equipped communal kitchen, and the dorm rooms are bright and airy with lockers (for no extra charge). And the beds have curtains!! The hostel is well situated for hiking the many trails in the area, and they also organize group walks up to the monasteries. Since there's so much to see in the area when exploring by foot, it's very easy to recommend staying here for a few days to see everything. Finally, the owner is a good-humored and friendly man. The second I walked in the door and sat down at the reception desk to check in, I felt totally welcomed. It's clear that he puts a lot of effort into running the hostel (I saw him cleaning, being friendly and chatting with guests, and working at the reception), and he also hand picks the volunteering staff, who were great as well. It all really shows!

Very friendly host and fantastic breakfast with a bit of variety each day. Spacious and clean room with balcony. The view from the room to Meteora is exquisite! And it doesn't matter which room you'll get - they all have the same stunning view! Not to mention the sunrises and sunsets!

Very clean and newly decorated studio. Perfect for a couple. Large bed, large sofa, large tv with streaming. Great shower too. Kitchenette with all you need. Good location for visiting Meteora, which were a 10 minute drive away. Parking outside the property was never a problem. Friendly host was there to welcome us. Plenty of eating places in the town and a Lidls supermarket.

I really liked the location, it is at the base of the mountain on the top of which you can see the wall of the Great Meteor Monastery. In the evening you can hear the monastery grinding. Complete silence and clean air. The accommodation is cozy, beautifully decorated. The breakfast is very tasty and very carefully arranged and prepared. We stayed one night, but we will definitely come back next year, because we did not manage to visit all the monasteries.Unfortunately, we didn't book another night, because we thought we could do everything in one day and we had already booked the next night in Bulgaria. I really recommend the location for a getaway for a few days.
