The room was comfortable, tasteful and very clean. Bathroom was very nice too. We really appreciated the welcoming with brownies, fresh milk and hot chocolate in our room. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful area, cabin was very clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed - good value for money. We also really appreciated the information booklet given as it was thorough and included nearby shops.

The cottage was lovely. Everything was clean and spacey. Lovely quite country side in walking distance to Bodiam Castle and train station. Also very dog-friendly! The staff was also very nice and helped us even on the Easter weekend. Thank you very much for everything! We hope to visit again!

The location is just perfect. it's easy to escape and relax in this beautiful setting. The bed was incredibly comfy Nick and America have thought of every whim you might need in the glamping tents. With washroom facilities and toilets very close Barbecue facilities and tools are there at your disposal if you wish. And to top it off, a very healthy and delicious breakfast. America was the perfect host. She couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommended

We had the loveliest stay at Kipling Cottage over the festive period. Karin and her husband were really friendly and hospitable with some little touches that made the stay extra special whilst the cottage itself is so cosy. We were drawn to the quriky aesthetic and beautiful grounds, which absolutely lived up to the photos. The spiral staircase took a bit of getting used to, but we found it really nice having separation between the bedroom/en suite and the rest of the living space. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal and the separate dining room is a nice space to eat in. TV is more than big enough and there's Sky so plenty of choice for what to watch whilst you cosy up. Bed was super comfy and loved the smell of the toiletries on offer. The cottage is well located with lots of beautiful countryside to explore nearby, and being able to stay with our dog was a bonus. All in all, couldn't have been a better stay and we'd definitely look to book Kipling Cottage again to make use of the summer house and cinema!

    Rosebank is ideally suited for exploring the gardens and NT properties in the Kent/E Sussex area. Kate and James were very helpful and friendly and they have done a great job with their guest room, separate from their house. Very comfortable, very clean, well maintained and conveniently situated.

    Lovely, peaceful location, with a gorgeous view over fields with cows, and nearby to a train station with easy access to places like Hastings and Battle. The nearby station cafe/bistro is great, and run by lovely people. Adam was flexible around check-in and check-out times, which was really helpful. And the place itself is really comfortable and clean and cosy, with lots of lovely little personal touches!

    Wonderful B & B, the bedroom was in an annexe to the main house ( a converted barn situated in the owners garden ) reached by a steep outside stair case, very comfortable large double bed, delicious continental breakfast, TV with Netflix/Amazon ( just remember to bring your passwords ), great location for visiting National Trust properties such as Batemans and Sisssinghurst. Would definitely recommend and will make a return visit.
