We had a lovely one night stay here. Linda and her wonderful family that included very friendly cats, dogs and horses, were fantastic hosts. The room was large and comfortable, and the views from our room were amazing. There are some good pubs nearby, within walking distance, but take a torch if you intend to return in the dark as it is pitch black in the countryside .

Beautiful location, welcome hamper on arrival and friendly host met us upon arrival and gave us a walkthrough of the house and grounds. The rooms were clean and spacious with fresh towels and toiletries supplied. We had a group of 24 and we wanted for nothing as everything you needed was supplied and we cooked several meals with ease. The hot tub was lovely and hot and ready to use.

The staff was excellent! The chef was brilliant ( nothing to much ) and the food was great, the manager took was exceptional kind ( seriously caring about all his guests ), the bartenders, just everybody!! I DEFINATLY come back to the Rose and Crown. Also, this area is so beautiful! Did you know they got several exceptional good beers!? Ask for it!! The Rose and Crown is a true “AANRADER” (Dutch)
