All. We are not used to put a 10 but they deserve it. Welcoming was perfect, beautiful house and room also. Big car park and wonderful breakfast, with all homemade. Host also helped us to find where to eat in a good Welsh pub.

Location was ideal for us as everything was within walking distance. Very comfortable, very clean. Everything was thought of needed for a stay. It was lovely to see little things provided eg coffee, tea, milk, sugar, cleaning essentials, even bottom draw had tinfoil, kitchen towels etc. ( we brought our own stuff with us not realising theses were provided). But still a lovely gesture. We will definitely book here again and most definitely recommend this property. J&H from Ireland

We loved the cosy cottage complete with log burner and hot tub as well as the peaceful location that was so convenient for getting into the town. Wendy and Stephen were such brilliant hosts and made us feel very welcome and I would definitely recommend this cottage to others looking for a relaxing weekend away.

The townhouse was a modern conversion with loads of character,amenity and comfort . The four sizeable bedrooms set over two floors were nicely furnished and decorated and the kitchen/ dining room was well equipped . The property was located in the centre of Hay and shops, pubs and attractions were on the doorstep. Everything was a described .

Perfect location. Superbly well kitted out and very well decorated. Very warm and cosy. Lots of lamps for ambient lighting in the house (eg useful to keep small light on at night to help with illuminating stairs / way to downstairs bathroom). Cosy fireplace with electric ‘wood look’ fire for extra warmth and atmosphere. Nice touches such as Welsh woollen blankets on beds / sofa. Very comfortable beds. My elderly Mum had the larger bedroom (and was able to manage the stairs) and I had the smaller double. Nice touches in the smaller room to compensate for the size, such as small hanging rail with hangers on the beam, wooden clothes rack, small chest of drawers. Loved being able to walk straight from house and be in the centre of Hay.

Stayed here with mum and sister whilst walking Offas Dyke, and it was absolutely perfect. Bit of a walk off the trail however it was the closest option! Sheila and her partner were incredible hosts, so accommodating and thoughtful. They have a fridge next to the rooms for fresh milk and water. The evening meal was exceptional - better than your standard pub fare and the breakfast menu was really good. The room was very comfortable and they upgraded us to have more space. Loved it!
