The appartement is just wonderful! Cozy, clean, nicely decorated with an eye for details, well equipped...the location is just great! Rural and remote area, with lots of wildlife you can see from the window. If you want to go out for pubs or food there is Oban and Fort William not too far away (but I also can recommend the closer restaurants like the old Inn and the pierhouse, as well as the castle Stalker Café). You can go for hikes and strolls directly from the house. If you have a car: all the nice places such as Glenfinnan, Glen Coe, Ben Nevis are just a short drive away. The owners are very friendly people, so welcoming and they made sure we've got everything we needed. The cats (they are outside) get an extra 10/10 for cuteness.

We really enjoyed our brief stay and wish it could have been longer. The area is very quiet and scenic and the home is located by a lovely garden full of birdsong. Our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The suite is comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere of the place is amazing and the breakfast was really tasty. The staff was incredible and made us feel very welcome. From the little tour of the castle on arrival all the way to the unprompted offer to take a picture of us in front of the castle when we checked out. We had dinner at a nearby family restaurant followed by a lovely evening at the bar in the castle. We stayed in the Breadalbane room and the view out the window was out of this world (see pictures).

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at 'The Old Shed', and what can I say? It's simply stunning! Nestled in a picturesque setting with breath-taking garden and mountain views, this charming little cabin exceeded all expectations. Despite its name, The Old Shed is actually a beautifully designed and fully equipped retreat. The attention to detail in the décor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere making it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including all the essentials and thoughtful extras like cleaning supplies. Denise, our wonderful host, went above and beyond to make our stay special. Her kindness and hospitality were evident from the moment we arrived, and the welcome basket of goodies was such a thoughtful touch! The location is fantastic - just a short walk to a lovely beach and surrounded by great walking trails (plenty of information provided inside the accommodation). There's also a well stocked local (pink!) shop nearby, making everything super convenient. The Old Shed is truly a hidden gem. Peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offering everything you could want for a relaxing getaway. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back!

    Great location. Spacious and cosy at the same time. Underfloor heating was amazing. Very clean Beds were super comfortable. Don’t let the A road put you off - you can’t hear cars / traffic once inside.

    Location was ideal for our needs. Nearly half way between Oban and Fort William - with great eating places at both ends - and more in-between! The apartment was an ideal size for us with an excellent welcome pack - and an extremely comfortable bed! The outdoor seating area will be great in spring/summer but it was a wee bit damp during our stay (Scots winter weather!). Geographically there are lots to do - driving / walking / hiking / boat trips etc etc. Love to go back in summer time.

    Beautiful location, very peaceful and easy access to Oban and Fort William. Caravan was very clean with all basics (toaster, coffee maker, kettle, salt/pepper, etc). The caravan is right by the loch so you have beautiful views. Totally recommend!
