The hotel is in a privileged location, with stunning views of the Nile and direct access down a set of stairs. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, perfect to relax. The room was excellent: spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Asmaa, the owner, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She also cooks wonderfully – if you’re lucky enough to try her traditional homemade food, you’ll truly enjoy it. The breakfasts were fantastic too, and one morning she even prepared a takeaway breakfast for our excursion. I absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again

Nubiano Cataract is a great authentic hotel in Nubian Style. I loved the colorful walls and the room was charming with a beautiful view over the Nile River. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff was very friendly and correct. I slept like a baby at night. I felt at home and happy. The location is close to Philae Island, it was perfect for me!

If you want to stay in Elephantine Island, The Mango Guest house is the best you can get! It's a beautifully built and maintained place with a lovely garden to sit in and have your drinks. The location is also good as it's only a short walk from the boat dock. The WiFi worked well in the room and the room was exactly what you see in their pictures. There is self service on drinks and you can also order food which they get you from outside. They also have a laundry service. Strongly recommended!

We were also pleasantly surprised by the possibility of having dinner at the property, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A special mention must go to Mahmoud, who was always there to assist us with anything we needed. Beautiful room, location and people. What a treat to wake up with the Nile view. The room was big and really comfortable. Breakfast was authentic and delicious. If you are looking for a break before or after a cruise, that is the place to go. It is an easy ride by car or motorboat from the eastbank which takes 35-40 min and the staff kindly helped us organise it in the morning

Location is great. Room in the top floor had a beautiful balcony with view! The owner brought us with the boat to Philae Temple so we did not have to haggle with the boat owners.

Amazing location! Super friendly and polite staff. We enjoyed an amazingly delicious local lunch after the city observation. The hotel is located in a fantastic and authentic place at the riverside. This place is highly recommended for a short stay to see the Philae Temple.

Very beautiful Nubian house!! Kept so clean! Room is big, comfortable mattress! Staff is super welcoming! Wanna come again! I know the location as I am diving in my own so this is not a problem for me. You can walk to the philea temple ticket office in 2 mins
