I really liked the locatcion and the possibility to take a walk around the farm and see the animals. The drive to Legoland is about 18min and you can find everything you need in Billund. A town called Vejle 20min away and it is a good tourist spot

The location of Hyrdeskolen is absolutely beautiful, with woods and vast green fields around. It's peacefully and quiet. One of the room's windows is facing South where beautiful sunsets can be seen but it's better to go outside. There is a space to sit outside with your morning coffee or at any time of the day. The room is simple but it's clean with two comfortable armchairs, there is a fridge, kettle and a Tchibo coffee machine, which I much appreciated. It's a lovely touch to facilitate a good coffee machine with a nice coffee in the room, so you can have a morning brew before you go on with your day. The owners are kind, thoughtful and friendly people. We could also see dogs in training, which was very interesting. When we are back in Denmark, we will be looking to stay in Hyrdeskolen again. P.S. The only thing that I was missing was some kind of clothes storage, for example, a simple rail with few hangers in the room/ wall hooks to hang some clothing from the briefcase. Very good location close to the bus and train station (max. 5 minutes walking distance), close to supermarket and nice restaurants for breakfast and dinner. We served breakfast on a small restaurant close to the hotel because the hotel breakfast seemed to sweet for us, we like to have omelets/scrambled eggs and other similar staff in the morning.

The house is very nice and the common kitchen facility is very modern. The place was clean and communication with the host was good too. We arrived a little late at night but the self check in instructions were very clear so we didn't have any problem
