I absolutely loved my stay here! What a wonderful gem in the city, spotlessly clean with beautiful murals and artwork everywhere. Fast WiFi, well-equipped kitchen, and so many comfortable places to relax around the house. Great location in a safe neighborhood with grocery stores nearby and a Mexican restaurant right on the corner. Friendly on-site manager that can help you with everything you need. I will definitely be back every time I need to stay in the city.

The train sultes was the perfect end to our trip in costa rica. Very Nice staff, got a Nice bread for breakfast, used the jacuzzi with amazing view. The neighborhood feels very safe, and very good restaurants around. Overall very pleased with out stay!

This is the place, when you got back from wherever you where before in Costa Rica to just calm down and have a very good night sleep. The beds are comfy, the rooms, showers, toilets are clean (btw the soap in the toilets smells amazing). The area surrounding is barrio escalante, there you can stroll around, enjoy a really good Coffee (cafeoteca is beyond), have great food and Just enjoy your stay in San jose.

I highly recommend this accommodation! We stayed here for one night before our flight home, and it was absolutely perfect. Everything was impeccably clean, comfortable, and cozy. The host family went above and beyond – they were incredibly kind and helpful. They even offered us a ride to the airport. If you’re looking for a place to stay near the airport, this is the one to choose. You won’t regret it!

Absolutely everything was amazing! Edward and his wife were so welcoming and prepared. They let us check in a bit early so we didn't have to lug our stuff. Edward even took us to the airport at 4:30 AM! Amazing people, luxurious place (even provided bathrobes). I would go here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for everything and hopefully see you soon!

I loved the beautiful style of the naturally cooled rooms, the style of the entire boutique hotel, the wonderful set-up of a gated park like garden and the lodge is centered on top of a hill, the staff members I met (4 of which one was the owner) are exceptionally nice

    For the price, continental breakfast was totally fine. Location for me was great as I live on the coast and Rohrmoser is easy access to downtown & Escazu, Pricesmart, EPA etc. There were many restaurants (mostly chain) with walking distance. I liked the Mexican restaurant that was 2 doors down.
