Everything. The family who run the hotel are absolutely amazing, they were so attentive to our needs and really happy to help with anything we needed. Everything was kept really clean, and whilst the hotel is far away from the main action, it does mean you’re much further away from all the sellers who tend to harass you, as well as in a more quiet and peaceful area. The hotel was just perfect :) the breakfast was really tasty, as were all other meals (I would personally strongly recommend the chicken coconut curry) but you do have the option of other restaurants if you want to wander off. Having said that, the staff do try and accommodate your needs/ tastes if you want something off the menu, although they don’t serve beef or pork to minimise impact on the environment. You can also go paddle boarding for free for an hour and they also have snorkel equipment you can use for free - really couldn’t recommend this hotel any more highly, stay there and you will have the best time! We had an amazing stay at Vista Linda. We originally booked for only one night as we didn't know how we'd handle the lack of air conditioning but there is good ventilation in the cabana. We stayed for an extra night and would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed for it! Manuel is so kind and friendly, he was a great help in organising transport to Barú and the mangrove and plankton tours, or even just chatting and having a drink with us. Roxana is amazing, whipping up delicious food in the kitchen and keeping the place spotless. Food portions are huge and very prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. The cabana is in a good location, away from the busiest section of the beach, although be aware there are still some boats where you enter the water. We have no complaints whatsoever, everything is as described. If you are accepting of the basic facilities on offer on Barú in general you'll not have any troubles here. I doubt you'd get a better, more relaxing atmosphere for a similar price.

Directly on the beach, from your terasse you can go directly to the water, choose a sea wiew room with private bathroom, you have your private free sunbeds, umbrella both on the beach and the terasse free of charge. Do not expect anything fancy it is not a hotel but a simple wooden cabana, ideal for taking a shower and sleep, you receive exactly what you pay for.

Location : 10/10 The umbrellas and beds for taking the sun are just for the people staying which is a +++. Place is located in a calm place. Not crowded as other places. Beach in front has not big rocks so you can dive with no problem. Parking is 35.000 COP per night and is around 10 min walking from the entrance of the beach. Staff: 20/10 Heineken was awesome!!! Totally recommend. He was taking care of everything, answered questions and provided insights of activities that could be made there. Cleaning: 10/10 Breakfast:10/10 it was really good and you can take it at some chairs and a table in front of your room. Awesome!
