I booked this for my daughter and her partner. She also stayed at the Waldorf Versaille which actually had fireworks that she could see from her room overlooking the palace.     The property was in a stunning location and (while dated, which is in a way part of its charm) it had everything we needed including good internet so we could work for a few days while there. It is right at the railway to Trieb and a nice walk to the Rütli so you can connect to the ferry around the lake easily. Also near a swimming lake and other walks and cable cars. Private parking and other amenities also ideal.

    Beautiful location with a wonderful view. Everyone was very friendly and above all nice, the room and the whole interior of the hotel very well taken care of down to the smallest detail, the room was very clean and smelled delicious.
