Tutto lo staff è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, ci hanno addirittura preparato la colazione al sacco perché dovevamo andarcene prima dell’orario in cui normalmente la servono. L’alloggio è semplice ma molto spazioso ed estremamente funzionale. La posizione è perfetta, fuori dal caos del centro ma attaccato a un tempio.

Il proprietario è stato fin da subito gentile e disponibile anche nell’aiutare a organizzare il soggiorno e gli spostamenti. La colazione ricca e abbondante. La stanza era essenziale ma pulita, aria condizionata necessaria per dormire (presente in alcune stanze, in altre ventilatore). La struttura ha un’area esterna molto curata e la posizione è ottima, vicina al tempio di Nallur e a mezz’ora a piedi o 5 minuti di tuk tuk dal centro e dalla stazione.

I booked this place for my parents and they loved their stay at Berty’s cottage. The owners handled everything easily and the meals were arranged well. They even arranged a tuk tuk for my parents for a reasonable price to go everywhere in Jaffna. My parents were more than satisfied.

We had such a wonderful stay at Nallarun illam! My husband, two children and I shared a family room, and we had ample space and ample air conditioning. The room is off of a shared kitchen/lounge space and a balcony, which was really nice for preparing snacks and relaxing. Everything was very clean and nicely situated. The biggest highlight of this place was our wonderful hosts. The host family could not have been more gracious. We happened to be in Jaffna for the new year, and they took us under their wing, sharing their traditions (including treats, dressing, a visit to the temple and fireworks at night). Their sweet kids played with our kids and, all in all, they made us feel completely at home in this beautiful city. We're very grateful for their generosity and hospitality and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

The parking was easy. The food was fantastic and very fast to arrive. It is the best place to stay in Jaffna

A Jaffna, a 3,2 km da Nallur Kandaswamy Temple e 3,5 km da Jaffna Railway Station, Malabar home stay propone alloggi con accesso a un giardino. Very homely, room was large and clean with good airconditioning. The host was super nice, helpful and friendly, always around to offer help. His wife makes the most delicious home made Jaffna food, try the mutton and crab curry. The place is on a very quiet street, however, it was easy to get a tuk tuk in and out of town or to any place of interest.
