La guest house tiene unas vistas espectaculares, tanto desde la habitación y el baño como desde la zona común. Nosotras pensábamos que el baño iba a ser compartido con más gente, pero resultó ser de uso individual, por lo que hay que reservar por horas y compaginarlo con el resto de huéspedes. Por lo tanto, es mejor llegar pronto. Es ideal para extranjeros que no quieran bañarse con desconocidos. Pedimos el servicio de desayuno, que es ochaduke, huevo duro y encurtidos, ¡simple pero muy bueno! Además, el anfitrión es increíblemente amable e hizo que nuestra estancia fuese aún mejor. Nos dio helados después del baño, hablamos bastante y también nos llevó en coche por la noche al conbini para que nos comprásemos la cena, ya que no tenemos vehículo privado. Por la mañana nos preparó cuidadosamente el desayuno en la sala común y, al despedirse, nos dio dulces. Un encanto de persona.

Ubicado en Shirakawa, a 45 km de Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, Onyado Yuinosho, Shirakawago tiene hospedaje con un salón compartido, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, un restaurante y un bar. Definitivamente la experiencia a destacar de nuestro viaje, fuimos porque lo vimos por redes sociales y por suerte superó nuestras espectativas. Personal calido y competente, comida abundante y de altisima calidad. Las intalaciones estaban muy cuidadas y limpias. Las habitaciones eran amplias y estaban muy bien equipadas. Incluso expliqué que tengo tatuajes y los chicos de administración me dijeron que no seria problema en horarios tranquilos en los baños termales y tambien estaba la posiblidad de usar los baños termales privados.

From you enter the reception you are met with a beautiful traditional Japanese interier, it is very well done. Everyone there were very polite and respectful, from staff to other guests. We three women arrived around 16, were able to select a cute yukata each we wore as much as possible for our one night stay, and were shown our room which were as big as a small apartment. We choose to go directly to the onsen which had just opened for the afternoon and had the place for ourselves. Very well stocked with brushes, hairties, lotions, everything free to use! the rooms were nice and comfortable, there was a beautiful tea set for us to use so we had a tea party in our yukatas, before dinner. We had paid for the dinner which was serving after serving of small dishes and a particularly tasty hida beef with miso dish. The beds and shower were great, nothing to complain about there, we had the traditional breakfast the day after with a self serve bar of drinks such as tea, coffee, juice and milk. Oh and we also went down to the onsen before breakfast and were once again alone to relax and take our time. It was probably the most expensive stay we have included on our trip but it was also by far the best experience we have had, and can recommend anyone to try it even just for a night like us, if not more ☺️

El Ryokan Hostel K's House ocupa un edificio de 100 años de antigüedad declarado bien cultural tangible situado en Shizuoka, a 7 minutos a pie de la estación de trenes JR Ito. El hostel es increíble. Una experiencia tradicional japonesa inolvidable. Fuimos a habitación compartida y hubo un problema con un huésped que llegó borracho, pero el personal del hotel lo resolvió rapidísimo y muy amablemente nos dieron otra habitación. El onsen es soñado. Me metí cuando no había gente y pude disfrutarlo yo sola. Incluso llovió y nos dieron paraguas y un aparato para secar las zapatillas. Super atentos. Vayan si o si!!

The summary - this Hotel is definitely the highlight point of our whole 2024 journey through Japan. For context - it's the third time we are in this country and this time we've been traveling for a whole month. If you have a chance to go here - don't hesitate. This is the hotel to enjoy the culture and cuisine most conveniently. As for the details: Japanese-Western Room with Hot Spring Bath - exceeded all of my expectations several times. Just wow, this new, this modern yet with a very clear Japanese style, and the second wow for all of the space, such a luxury! The wood, the details, the quality, impeccable cleanness. The bath deserved its own wow. So convenient, with regulated heat and a wide window with an option to open it and keep privacy. The staff speaks English very well. Lots of additional perks like simple but free "nighttime ramen", beverages, snacks, and sake. Great onsen space with additional private but free spots to enjoy it for couples, kids, and friends. Well managed, friendly. And the building itself - the amazingly decorated corridors, the lamps, the floors, the info tables, and the signs - I've enjoyed every inch of them. Well done with the whole design and keeping it in such a great shape. We've had half board options - high-quality Kaiseki for breakfast and Shabu-Shabu or Yakiniku for dinner. The hotel offers helpful transfer, convenient for large travel bag users. Without them - it's pretty close to the bus station. So many things I liked, but the last one to mention is the view from our restaurant counter, it really looks like a picture, but it's the mindblowing reality.

Had a ton of beds for all of us to sleep in. Had everything we needed to cook with as well. Free parking was great as well
