The host was very reachable via email. This is an entire two bedroom home that you are renting. The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you would like to cook a meal, it is definitely possible. However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

My friend and I arrived on Saturday morning, and Sean was already there in his minivan, waiting to welcome us and the other guests. From the very start, his friendliness and attentiveness set the tone for an exceptional stay. The lodge is about 6 km from the main village, and although it is a little off the beaten track, the option to hire a bike made it a delightful and peaceful location. It is also conveniently close to the Worm Hole, which I highly recommend visiting! Sean gave us fantastic advice to help us make the most of our experience on the island. We stayed in a family room, which was spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The private bathroom was an added bonus, and the view of the island from our room was simply stunning. The other guests were also very friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The living room is large and cosy, filled with books and comfortable sofas, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. There is also space for yoga, both indoors and outdoors, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was varied, with plenty of hot and cold options to choose from. But the moment that truly stayed with me was returning from dinner in the main village to find the common area lit with candles, creating an intimate, immersive atmosphere that perfectly complements the wild beauty of the island and its charming native surroundings. Sean’s hospitality, the lodge’s comfort, and the peaceful, beautiful location make Aran Walkers Lodge an unforgettable place to stay. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Penny, la gerente, una persona increíble, amable y atenta. El Ard Einne House ofrece vistas a su propia playa y alojamiento con baño privado y vistas a las costas de Galway y Clare. Además, sirve un desayuno diario y hay conexión WiFi en las zonas comunes. Clodagh was super friendly and offered so many great suggestions to us. Breakfast area was lovely and the food itself was just what we needed to start the day. She even provided non-dairy butter for me with breakfast.
