One of the best accommodations I’ve ever had. Mr. Kaesa was extremely helpful — he was waiting for us upon arrival and provided us with the most detailed information about Berastagi and the trek to Gunung Sibayak. The rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was available. As a bonus, the price was extremely low — almost ridiculously cheap considering everything that was included. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Berastagi.

Great view, good fresh breakfast. Owner amazingly helpful, even ensured my safe shared car travel and checked back with me.

Mila Homestay en Padang, está establecido a 10 km de Siti Nurbaya Bridge y ofrece hospedaje climatizado con WiFi gratis, así como acceso a una terraza. Dila y Michael son unos anfitriones geniales. La habitación es cómoda y muy limpia, con aire acondicionado. El desayuno completo y riquísimo, con unas vistas increíbles. En nuestro caso, ellos mismos se ofrecieron a recogernos y llevarnos (por un precio muy inferior al de Grab) tanto al aeropuerto como al puerto, ayudándonos a comprar los billetes del ferry. Si volvemos a Padang, repetiremos con ellos segurísimo. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!

I very much enjoyed my stay here. I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.

Ubicado en Bukit Lawang, Jhony's Backpacker-Guest House only stay here book treking with us cuenta con un jardín, terraza, restaurante y WiFi gratis. Amazing place... You can relax at night drinking fresh beer.. and the room is amazing whit private toilet and fan. I make traking whit him and was amazing too. We found 3 orangutan and he provide foos and breakfast. De cara frente a la playa en Bukit Lawang, JUNGLE LIFE GUEST HOUSE - Trekking & Transport Only Book With Us tiene un bar. Staff were great for organising trips. Super close to the start of the treks and a lovely view of the river. Staff helped book the tours and transport in and out of Bukit Lawang.

Ofreciendo vista a la montaña, Mario Lakeside Apartments en Tuk Tuk tiene hospedaje, bicis gratuitas, un jardín, una terraza, un restaurante y instalaciones para parrilladas. I truly loved everything about Mario Lakeside. The location is peaceful and beautiful, right by the lake — perfect for relaxing. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What made this place special is the heart behind it. The owner, Pak Ali, is a kind and inspiring person. He also runs a foundation for children with cleft lips in Sumatra — which made my stay feel even more meaningful. Upstairs, there’s a vegetarian café with delicious food. They grow some of their ingredients on-site (farm-to-table concept), and I was blown away by the haloumi sandwich – they even import the cheese from the UK! It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place that stays with you. I’d definitely come back if I visit Toba again.

Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa tiene un jardín, terraza, un restaurante y bar en Bukit Lawang. Ofrece WiFi gratis y servicio a la habitación. El sitio es increíble, con un jardín precioso. La habitación enorme y lo mejor de todo, la enorme terraza con hamaca incluida con vistas al jardín. Además nos facilitaron el trecking a la selva, que hicimos con Radja y Riski, dos chicos verdaderamente majisimos. Fueron todo facilidades y el desayuno (no incluido ) era buenísimo.

SeaGate Bungalows cuenta con un jardín, zona de playa privada, una terraza y restaurante en Sabang. Un baño de aguas termales y un servicio de renta de autos están disponibles para sus huéspedes. Super happy we stayed here. Very beautiful and clean cottage directly in front of a private beach with corals and lots of fish. Perfect for snorkeling and you can rent masks there. The restaurant was also great with nice staff. Borja and his wife super chill and helpful. Fully recommended!
