When we didn't want to end our Botswana trip staying in a typical hotel we decided on staying at Jayla's homestay. Best decision we made. Immediately we felt we had come to stay with family or friends. The warm welcome continued for the duration of our stay as we unwound from bouncing around the back country of Botswana. All the reviews made mention of the meals prepared by Mmapula and how the food was so good. I had a hard time believing this but it is so true. I asked her repeatedly if she had trained or cooked professionally and she said no. What a talented natural cook she is. Everything she prepared for us was delicious. Also, she is very generous with her time and we had long discussions on the day to day living in Botswana.  Please note this is a homestay. There isn't a pool or anything fancy. Our room was a good size with a fridge, kettle, coffee and tea. Good A/C and to my wife's delight a big bathtub. There was a comfortable outside seating area with a fridge as well. Dinner is at the communal table with the other guests where you can share you traveling stories. Just a great stay.

It is way better than it looks in the pictures. The place is cozy, organized, clean, very spacious and has a great vibe. You feel very relaxed and disconnected in this cabin surrounded by nature. Tebla (the host) is beyond kind, he is very cordial and helpful, one of the nicest people we met in Botswana. He makes sure you have a great stay and want's to genuinely help you. The place location is not easy to find if you hire a local cab on the street, so I would recommend hiring the shuttle service with Acacia Cottage.

Kitchen is so well equipped you could run a catering business during your stay.😀 In winter there is a fireplace and wood to add to the ambiance and keep you warm during the cooler nights. My future go to place!

Situado a 50 km de Nhabe Museum, Phazama Farm cuenta con hospedaje con WiFi gratis y estacionamiento privado de cortesía. We had an amazing time at Phazama farm, Katja and Peter were very helpful throughout, for example they helped us organise a 1-day safari with Thato, which was also amazing. A really magical place!
