Really nice to have extra room to hangout and couches with TV/Netflix etc. 2 bedrooms, kitchen, lounge. Comfy beds, adequate kitchen with kettle, water filter, electric hot plate. Felt safe and secure. Anand was very helpful getting us what we needed and helping us get home with calling him to give directions to drivers some nights.

The best homestay experience. Lovely architecture, warm and helpful staff and owner, exceptionally clean. Card payments for accommodation and taxi accepted, which was very useful. Lovely place.

Dera Haveli Heritage Homestay is a lovely place to stay at in the culturally rich city of Gwalior. The place has great character and you will immediately feel immersed in the authenticity of the haveli culture. Our room was clean and spacious with a large, comfortable bed and a pleasant bathroom with all the necessary toiletries at our disposal. Breakfast was excellent and complete, served on the small terrace opening onto the neighbourhood's terraced roofs - an enthralling sight both at sunrise and sunset. Food was also excellent at dinner, combined with the quiet atmosphere of the place. Yet what makes Dera Haveli a true gem in Gwalior is the very friendly welcome we were given by the receptionist who went above and beyond to meet our expectations: Sohan, we do thank you for the exceptional quality of the service and exchanges offered throughout our stay.

Everything was extremely clean, starting from the sidewalk, garage, kitchen, inside everywhere was clean. It was possible to use the kitchen, but had to pay 200 rupees per day. Bed sheets and towels were clean. The neighborhood was calm and silent.

The property was excellent and the support staff was very cooperative in addition to resolving small issues they were very prompt in helping out and guiding local planning for site seeing..
