Nice views from the room, just in-front of Backwaters. Jacuzzi was a huge plus 😍 Host David was super friendly, welcoming and made sure that stay is perfect! Breakfast was super nice too.

Amazing and a very unique experience. Especially living in the backwaters and getting the feel of Alleppey with mesmerising views was worth it.

I loved my stay at Kadalamma beach house. It is right on the beach, in a quiet area. But what makes this place unique is the loveliest hosts. It is run by a lovely Belgian lady and her husband from Kerala. Couldn't have asked for better hosts!

It was right on the backwater. Great views, so relaxing. Getting there does require you to walk the last 200 metres or call them and they’ll pick you up boat for that bit, if you come by vehicle. It’s on the government boat (ferry) route to so you can catch a boat to and from town for 14 rupees, which is such a lovely relaxing journey. The owner and particularly the hosts were so lovely and accommodating.

Hospitality is so good and Tejus owner narayan is so supportive to explore surrounding area.

- An excellent location for vacation. It is quiet and peaceful. - To reach the stay everytime, there was a boat which used to take us from the road to the stay across the water. It was great experience every time. - We were provided by kayaks and we went for kayaking. It was quite fun and adventurous. - Food was good. Every morning we used to get special dishes for breakfast which were awesome. Overall awesome experience for a vacation and would like to visit again. 🤘

This is a houseboat that covers a similar route to most other houseboats in Aleppey. We were on a boat with four rooms, however, there were only three more people. The boat was big and cozy so that we had enough privacy. The staff was very polite and friendly. The room was very nice and clean, comparable to European standards. The meal was delicious with vegetarian and non veg options.

Location is superb. And the architecture and ambience is amazing. Interior and exterior decor is also good.

The best homestay, if you are coming to Alleppey and want to enjoy tasty Kerala food, budget friendly, experience true hospitality, with the opportunity to make wonderful friends and in a great location just 2 minutes walk from the beach then Venitia Homestay is the right choice. There is the option of Fan or AC, we chose fan. The rooms are spacious, comfortable bed, and drinking water/glasses provided. The shower pressure is good, towels are provided and the windows in bedroom open fully to allow good air circulation if needed. The first visit, (we stayed here 3 times in total), we extended our trip and stayed for 8 nights and the bed linen/towels were changed without even asking. There is space to relax here, on the balcony, interacting with the family or even up to the rooftop to admire the stars at night. The family are so lovely, their hospitality is 5* and it feels like a home away from home. Jeeja's cooking is so good, we ate nearly all our meals here, some at the family dining area downstairs and some upstairs near our room, vegetarian/meat/fish/spicy/not spicy she is very accommodating and for myself just a little sugar in the best masala chai in Kerala 😊 Jeeja the Masala Chai Queen ☺️ If they could help us in any way they did so, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, to look after us and arrange trips/recommend places to visit. We even did some exploring with Aakash, went to the cinema together, and enjoyed many conversations with all the family. Staying with this kind, caring, friendly and fun family has been a true highlight of my visit to Kerala, and I look forward to visiting them again next time I return to Kerala. I recommend sunrise kayaking, the budget friendly Vega government boat trip, KSRTC Gavi trip, the beach near by, and generally just exploring the area.
