Highly recommended! I have never experienced so much helpfulness anywhere else. The accommodation is clean, in a good location, in a nice environment. The owner and his whole family are extremely friendly. They are always ready to help with anything: organizing tours, getting to know the area, information about culture and anything else. Imanuel and his family are very attentive and kind hosts. They have the kind of hospitality that comes from the heart. The room and the shared bathroom are cleaned regularly. The breakfast is 5-star! On my last day I got the best ginger tea of my life! I did a 2-day tour with Imanuel in the Toraja region and it was very interesting and informative. Imanuel is a very good guide and his English is super. He also helped me to find a guide to show me around in Makassar. Thank you very much for everything!

The family was very kind and Yansen was great guide. Yansen showed us all the interesting places around Rantepao and shared his personal knowledge and experiences about the culture which was super interesting. The food in homestay was the best food I have had in Indonesia. The location was peaceful and beautiful.

As other reviewers have said , a very comfortable home stay in a beautiful location . comfortable beds , hot showers and a lovely view from all of the rooms . The hosts Monike and Geri are very responsive on what’s app and helped us make a night bus reservation from Makassar and arranged for us to be collected from the bus stop at 5am. Monike really is a wonderful cook , extremely generous meal sizes too! they put us in touch with a local guide who provided an excellent overview of Toraja in 2 days including a funeral ceremony . highly recommend

I would suggest everybody travelling to Toraja to spend few days here! Everything here was so perfect that I even do not know where to start. Owner of the homestay was one of the most helpful man I have ever met. He helped us with the transport to Toraja, to rent a scooter and most importantly, he was our guide and showed us some really awsome ceremonies in Toraja. Also his wife can make the best pancakes for the breakfast. We only stayed there for 4 nights but we could easily spend here more then 10 nights, as we felt really welcomed and Toraja is really unique place, where every day is new advanture. The best place that I have visited during my trip to Indonesia!

We had a great time here. We spent three nights here and the owner Wila is truly a fantastic person. Wila is also a very good guide, he knows everything about the beautiful and special culture of Toraja. We were lucky to experience the traditional funeral ceremony which for us was a very impressive experience. Wila also took us too all the graves and other amazing places around Rantepao. Wila also knows the best places for a good lunch and dinner. Wila can also prepare a very good and nice cop of coffee whats also very important! I had a great time with Wila and i hope we'll meet again. Mama Paulien and grandma are also very warm and pleasant persons and we're glad that we've meet them. Thanks for everything Wila!
