This beautiful, quiet old stone inn is set on the edge of Lemos, with views of the surrounding hills and Prespa lake in the distance. The beds have beautifully hard mattresses. Loved the room and the house and the village. They have lots of character and look well used. Might not be for everyone, but the lush garden, insects, frogs, birds, cats, dogs, cows, the lake was heaven to me. The breakfast was abundant and tasty. The host is very friendly and welcoming. I hope to visit again.

The apartment is in a unique position. Above a small farming community on an island within a lake, you have to walk over a foot bridge for the last 600 meters or so. It is surrounded by plants that pelicans nest in. They catch hot air and soar into the blue sky. Damn cool. Never seen anything like it. The island is walkable within 1.5 hours, but good shoes might be recommended. There are ruins from Greek Orthodox Monasteries there that are very cool. The host was always reachable on the phone and always had recommendations for us. We had an issue with the water (discussed below) but the host immediately provided us with bottled water and even refunded us the day we had the issue. We didn't need to ask! Very professional.
