Our experience at Rustico Cottage #2 was nothing short of delightful. Its ideal location in the heart of Maggia Valley, near the Ronchini bus stop, offered us stunning views. The cottage itself was a cozy haven, with a modern kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, and a refreshing shower in the bathroom. We were so enamored that moving in crossed our minds, and without a doubt, we'll be returning.

Perfect old house with "genius loci". Plenty of space. Access only by stairs. Parking 50m, no dedicated parking place, but no problem to find a place nearby house. Flock of goats at neighborhood.

This classic Italianate villa was really beautifully restored, very comfortable and with excellent amenities. The modern kitchen was very useful - apparently shared but we saw no one else! Great views from the room and huge wonderful balcony/terrace. Handy for the railway and buses. We loved it!

The hotel is located in a small village on a place in a nostalgic building. There is a nice courtyard and the hotel has also a resuarant, where the breakfast is served. The 3- or 4-bed room consisted of 2 separate rooms, divided through curtains. The first room was bigger than the second and we had a private bathroom, which was outside of the sleeping rooms, due to the architecture of the building. The personnel was very friendly and welcoming. We loved the rich breakfast. There is a parking lot for guests (which is a little bit hidden, when you arrive from the street). This place is good for a rip with a car, visitng that region and the Maggia valley.

Rita and Giuseppe are truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Their hospitality is second to none, combining professionalism with genuine care. The hotel’s location is superb, just a few meters from the lake and surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. It’s also within walking distance (about 3.5 km) from Locarno. The village itself offers a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal place to unwind. Breakfast is elegant and delicious, featuring fresh seasonal fruits and a thoughtful selection of options. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.

The bed was very comfy, shower great, breakfast, drinks and evening meal in the garden all excellent. Hosts really friendly. Lovely walk along the lake into Locarno and very convenient for the train station. Would highly recommend.

    Someo is an extremely beautiful village, and there is great walking available, The hotel was very good. The room was spacious (we had the quadruple room). The breakfast was excellent as was the dinner when we had it. The host was very efficient and helpful. The hotel is a converted old building and full of charm.
