Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The Manor is a beautiful, traditional old home, filled with character. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel so welcomed. They also helped us with transfers and organized tours in the area in a relaxed and effortless way. It's the perfect, non-rushed way to experience wine country. Highly recommend it.

Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. The location was perfect with a view from our balcony to the bay. The rooms were spacious and the shared common room were fantastic. The staff we exteremely kind and responsive. They gifted us a bottle of wine for the most minor of inconvenience. The breakfast box for our early morning departure was tremendous!

They even escorted me to the Uber car that took me to the airport. **Best value for money.

What a find. Everything about this well located guest house is excellent. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The host who checked me in was charming. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked and there was plenty of options from the buffet table. There is a sparkling pool to cool off in and the gardens are picture perfect. The communication from the owner was prompt, giving direction before arrival, to dealing with all my requirements. If only everyone run there business like this it would be a pleasure to travel. I will definitely be using this guest house on all future visits to Cape Town. Can highly recommend.

Great location with some lovely walks alongside the river in both directions. Only a 20 minute stroll to the restaurants in the central part of Wilderness. The accommodation is very well appointed with a fabulous verandah area, perfect for sitting out in the warm, sunny weather we enjoyed. We ate out for dinner on the four nights we were there, but self catered our breakfast using the excellent facilities provided.
