Our hosts Hilda and Berty were just wonderful in every respect. Hilda is a wealth of knowledge about the local area and helped us to plan our days in Jaffna. Berty is a wonderful host and an incredible cook who made delicious breakfast. These varied each day and were delicious . The guest house was comfortable. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Very clean, modern house and the family is very nice and super friendly. They made you feel welcome and helped with finding my way around Jaffna by letting me know bus times etc to go to Nainathive. Shared some puja food as well and it was a great experience. They also made sure that tea is available before I left even though it was super early morning. The AC nice and cold plus the ceiling fan aids further in cooling the space down after a long day out in the Sri Lankan heat. the showers are quite exceptional by Sri Lankan standards (good pressure, hot water, and somewhat separated/divided from the rest of the bathroom). Bed was comfy and the room even had a desk and a place to hang clothes which were nice bonuses.
