Eva and Markus offer first class treatment and food to all their guests, they really care about details and quality, would totally recommend it to anyone.

Situado en Tilarán, La Ceiba Tree Lodge cuenta con WiFi gratis, y sus huéspedes pueden disfrutar de un jardín, una terraza y un restaurante. The grounds of the lodge are fabulous. There is plenty to explore, with an orchid garden and the Ceiba Tree overlooking the property. The breakfast was really nicely done, with a fabulous set-up of the flowers hanging down from the roof of the place. Also overlooking the Lake Arenal, and a feeding station for birds. Fresh coffee brewed the original way at the table. We also got our laundry done by the hosts, which was really handy, great value and done with more care than dedicated businesses for it. We paid extra for the room with a terrace, and it was worth that for the view and sitting out.

Vey clean room, well maintained property. Lovely and exceptionally hospitable owners. Quiet,yet close to Tamarindo and the surrounding beaches- 10-14 min by car. Great breakfast- enjoyed the French crepes every morning, eggs, delicious coffee, homemade yogurt, fresh fruits, gallo pinto, almond cake and more. Nice pool, very refreshing for the hot weather.

It genuinely feels like a home you become part of during your stay. There’s also the opportunity to see beautiful birds up close from the house’s terraces. The hosts were incredibly helpful in planning our days and recommending activities. Lastly, the fantastic breakfast deserves a mention—it kept us full all the way until dinner. We give this place our highest recommendation and would love the chance to visit again.
