I had a dream vacation in Oberwald in this very clean, modern, comfortable hotel! It is very close to the railway station, around 5-7 minutes on foot. It offers good food in their restaurant. The room was impressive with very modern facilities and clean as a crystal glass. I took day trips and immersed myself in wonder !

Amazing breakfast, included in our stay, which we enjoyed Unfortunately, we were not able to stay longer but we will be back!

Staid here for the second time, and it is still the same authentic atmosphere as 4 years ago. Very nice hotel, just at the main road, impossible to miss. Family-run hotel with lots of history (Goethe or Pope Pius XI stayed here too) and one can feel it in the interior and equipment. The rooms are were very cosy, you have a coffee machine in the room with complimentary coffee. Very quiet with wood-laid walls and carpets in the courts decorated with antiquities. The room was very clean. The restaurant is also very good with fresh trout being served - do not miss it if you like fish. And don't miss spending some time in the salon on the first floor! Parking in front with enough lots directly on the main road. And, surprisingly competitive price. Will definitely stay again, when passing this way.

Ernen is a charming village, definitely the place to stay if you are looking for the perfect quiet getaway. Our hotel had an amazing terrace with gorgeous views and the restaurant was very good. The beef tartare and Rösti - amazing and don't forget to try the apple strudel! Easy drive to Fiesch or Mörel to get the lifts to the respective view points to see the impressive Aletsch glacier.
