Exellent pearl in the middle of a beautiful landscape. Lovely young man welcomed us. Local museum Pórbergur Centre, don't miss it. Fantastic dinner - lamb- and breakfast with homemade bread and lamb charcuterie. We can only recomend this wonderful place.

First time staying in hostel, wasnt sure how all works regarding shared things,information was provided yes and all read. Very happy that you still had your personal little house and toilet. Location was perfect ,stayed one night and very affordable,if needed would definetely come back.

WE SAW THE AURORA. Breakfast included! The cabin was awesome! We had the big/family cabin. Has queen bed and bunkbedx2. Has stove fridge kitchen stuff except microwave huhu. Has balcony where in you can wait and watch for the northern lights. 20 mins drive to Jokulsarlon glacier.

The place seems a little lost and left to itself at first glance. Despite this, the state of the premises whether the room, the kitchen or the bathroom was impeccable. We cannot remove from this Guesthouse the fact that it is ideally located in relation to any light source at night because it gave us our first opportunity to see the northern lights along the road below. Everything was super new, it seems that this place has just started operating very recently. All the furniture including the kitchen tools are very new which is a plus. The view from the big window of the glacier was also one of the highlights. I would rate this place as one of the best accommodations we've booked on our ring road trip.

    The host was very friendly and helped us a lot with places of interest around the area. It was great meeting her and talking to her. Felt very homely. The breakfast laid out was also great. The proximity to the lagoon makes it a great location.

    Thora is a very nice host, making sure you have all you need. Excellent breakfast, pretty and cosy room for 3 with view on the close sea. The house is taken care with serious and purely clean. Very close to beautiful spots. We recommend +++ ! We are a French couple with our 22 years old daughter.
