En nuestra estancia tuvimos la suerte de ser época de llegada de tortugas, un privilegio poder observar este acontecimiento de la naturaleza a pocos metros de la playa.

Casa Luis está en São Tomé y ofrece vistas al jardín, piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza. La habitación en casa particular ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. Mr Luis was the perfect host. The grounds were beautiful. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

GENTE D'AQUI Ngê D'ai êê está en São Tomé, en la región de Sao Tome Island, a 6 min a pie de Praia Izé. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, zona de barbacoa, jardín y parking privado gratis. Great spot with amazing view from bed where waves will sing you to sleep. Located in the community but still isolated. People in the community are very friendly, local bar recommended to experience the vibes. Hosts Sara, her brother and Joao will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. They speak English as well.

El lodge Mucumbli se encuentra en la localidad de Ponta Figo y ofrece un restaurante y conexión Wi-Fi gratuita. Mucumbli was for us extraordinary for different reasons and it was just not the houses, restaurant and territory, but all these people we talked there, who were our guides and drivers and those with whom we planned our days on the Western coast from our home country. And those who dealt with our changing desires while being there. For example: we found out that we couldn't ride mountain bikes in the heat of Africa. And we chose not to rent a car to drive south as we had planned back at home. Instead, we toured with a driver and went to Porto Alegre by boat. I recommend this 3.5 hour boat trip to anyone who loves the sea. To see this beautiful island from a far is so special. Especially the S-W part of it, which is without roads and very few people live there and all of it is covered with primary rainforest. To Amaro, our Northern Coast tour and Water Tunnel hiking guide, we are especially grateful. Tt was fun and interesting with him. The same goes for the guide ( sorry, cannot right now recall his name, but he was also English teacher as Amaro) who led us for two days from Bom Sucesso over the mountains and in the forest to Chamiço. And the next day from there down to Agostinho Neto. This was simply wonderful. Thanks to Mucumbli we saw a lot of country, experienced different surroundings, had a fun time walking in the nature and talking about the history of the country and everything concerned the life of people there. But what concerns Mucumbli as a place, this is beautiful, spacious, clean, tasty, charming. With good food and mood. With very lovely people. Stay with them and use their knowledge and guides to discover this beautiful-beautiful island. We are very grateful!

Hotel Kenito se encuentra en São Tomé, a 7 min a pie de Praia Emília, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. clean and new rooms, comfy bed, good wifi and A/C, nice pool, but above all great host and staff - they were extremely helpful and fulfilled literally every wish i had :) i'd recommend to go for their rental cars too - the local car rental agencies i had were not very reliable and i got really old cars (but inexpensive, ok) ;)

Gombela Ecolodge and Farming está en São Tomé, a 2,1 km de Praia Piscina, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Cada habitación dispone de patio. It is located on a very pretty part of the island really close to a very beautiful beach. There are also only 2 cottages so it’a never busy with people. Great place to relax. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Domus Guesthouse dispone de piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y restaurante en Santana. The breakfast is personalized instead of a buffet. I didn't even have to request it. Soon after I sat at a table I was served by an ample sort of food. Local fruits, ham, cheeze, and more. I tried several kinds of brewed tea. For those that love lemon, I suggest to try the Chalela tea :). The location is slightly away from the city center, about 5 minutes from car. This both gave me a calm area for sleep and relaxation, and made it quick to get there whenever I needed, which suited my needs perfectly.

El Emoyeni Gardens ofrece alojamiento frente al mar en São Tomé. Además, alberga un restaurante y una piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año. Loved this small boutique hotel. Run by a dedicated family since its inception and it has everything you need in a hotel. The service is beyond exceptional. The wifi, air conditioning, showers, large rooms, and continental breakfast are perfect and the location is within walking distance of many restaurants and local sites. They even have a small bar with a great selection and my favourite , São Tomé national beer. Highly recommended.
