Beachside Apartments A and B are purpose-built apartments located just steps from Kaka Point beach. They both feature a separate bedroom, a living area with a sofa and a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle, fridge and coffee machine. The tiled bathrooms have walk-in showers.These apartments are located off-site on the Esplanade and have views across the beach to the ocean. I absolutely loved everything about this place, it was definitely one of my favourites in all of NZ! The owner is so kind and responsive, always quick to help with anything we needed. The place is spotlessly clean and tidy, and it's full of lovely little touches that immediately make you feel right at home. Everything is really well organised and well thought out, you can tell they've put so much care into every detail. And the view from the porch right in front of the sea is just incredible! I could have sat there for hours just watching the waves. Kaka Point is such a lovely, safe little community, we felt so welcomed by everyone we met, and the Caitlins in general are absolutely wonderful to explore. Close to the place there's a really good pub as well, and the building made of wood and driftwood was such a treat, a real pleasure to see and perfectly fits the coastal vibe. I honestly can't recommend this place enough and I'm already hoping we can come back soon! If you're looking for somewhere special to stay in this area, this is definitely it.

Kaka Point Spa Accommodation - Catlins is situated on the Southern Scenic Route, 100 metres walk to a swimming or surfing beach as well as a cafe and a bar. There are a variety of native bush walks in the surrounding areas. Amazing view of the ocean and the surfers. The heated beds were helpful to make sleep very cozy.

Seaspray Cabin is situated in Hinahina and offers a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. An exquisite place. Everything was beautiful and well thought out - from the complimentary wine to the high quality bed linen. One of the best stays we’ve had. Make sure to set your alarm for the stunning sunrise in the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer!
