Our bedroom was great with a comfortable king bed and great shower/bathroom. Everything was very clean and the hosts were very friendly without being intrusive. We were the only guest so had the common area to ourselves as well and enjoyed the excellent included continental breakfast. Highly recommend The Salty Bushman for your stay in The Catlins.

The property is non-smoking and is located 200 metres from Kaka Point Beach. No breakfast included so I am not commenting about that. Although I did see spreads, milk, tea and coffee available which was handy though did not use.

Kitchen was fully stocked (pots, bowls, plates, glasses, mugs, silverware, other utensils, and a full range of appliances and cleaning supplies). Heater worked well. Beds and couches were very comfortable. Bathroom was great. And the views of the ocean from both the living room and the main bedroom were nothing short of stupendous.

The property is non-smoking and is set 500 metres from Kaka Point Beach. Was certainly on the level of a home away from home. Walked in and instantly breathed a sigh of relief at being there. The kitchen was wonderfully fitted out, the addition of staple food items was great - if we’d decided to cook, or had been there longer.

This was a lovely room , opening onto the backyard with excellent views over the beach. Short walk to the beach for a long and lovely stroll. Fifteen minutes to the Point Nugget Lighthouse if you want to photograph it . Mike , the host is very friendly and helpful . Would stay again if in the area .

Beachside Apartments A and B are purpose-built apartments located just steps from Kaka Point beach. They both feature a separate bedroom, a living area with a sofa and a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove top, toaster, kettle, fridge and coffee machine. The tiled bathrooms have walk-in showers.These apartments are located off-site on the Esplanade and have views across the beach to the ocean. Seascape Accommodation in Kaka Point was an amazing spot for our stay. The location is perfect, just across from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the coastline and the sunrise. The place itself is modern, clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was warm and cozy. We were lucky enough to do some stargazing as the clouds cleared up at night. The only hiccup was a fire siren test in the evening that startled us, but it turned out to be a scheduled practice in the area. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. An exquisite place. Everything was beautiful and well thought out - from the complimentary wine to the high quality bed linen. One of the best stays we’ve had. Make sure to set your alarm for the stunning sunrise in the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer!
