A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

Sea Sand Resort cuenta con un jardín, terraza, un restaurante y bar en Kalpitiya. We stayed only one night at the beginning of the season in Kalpitiya, and we had a great stay here. The chalets are spacious, modern and super clean, the bathrooms were huge as well. The courtyard had also a great vibe with the sand and the palm trees providing some shade. The staff were super friendly and accommodating - we also had breakfast here and coffee, both were great choices.

Ging Oya Lodge tiene bicis gratuitas, alberca al aire libre, un jardín y terraza en Wayikkal. Gin oya lodge is a wonderful resort, located at the river. Many thanks for the wonderful time. The meals and the cooking are really great. We miss the wonderful food. Thank you for make us feel at home.

El Kitelantis ofrece alojamiento frente a la laguna en Kalpitiya. El establecimiento cuenta con instalaciones para practicar deportes acuáticos y piscina al aire libre. The staff are the best! Specially the manager Jessie, so nice to talk to and helped us with everything we needed. The rest of the staff were also lovely. Location is amazing, if you want a very beach jungle vibe this is the place. The pool bar was probably my favourite. Oh and if you want to go to the beach you go by boat, just a couple of minutes. Almost no tourist around.

I've visited plenty of hotels in Sri Lanka but here i had the most warm welcome. I stayed in cabana which made in traditional rural style. All nessesary facillities (fan, moscito net, privet bathroom) were there. Host Prasanna is amazing and empathetic person. He always helped us with all our reqests but on the same time he wasn't intrusive. Besides, I’d like to mention good value for money, convenient location (10 minutes to beach by foot and 5 minutes by watersport lagoon by tuk-tuk) and delicious (non spicy!) traditional food.

Todo con un gusto exquisito donde tú y tu experiencia son lo más importante para ellos. Si no tenías Kalpitiya en tu ruta, merece la pena que lo incluyas.
