The location was incredibly accessible, making it easy to explore the area. Our host was fantastic — welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with any requests. The property was ideally situated near local amenities, so everything we needed was just a short walk away. Plus, there were so many activities to enjoy, from scenic walks around the island to boat rides and exploring the rich history of the area. It was truly a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Lamu!

Jua House tiene alojamiento con una ubicación excelente en Lamu, cerca de Playa de Shela y Mnarani House, y ofrece vistas a la ciudad, una terraza y wifi gratis. The staff was ever so helpful and amazing. Kudoz to Kalu and Chai. The breakfast was amazing and great portions- and variety. A great hidden GEM! So breathtaking. Amazing guides, cool place to just chill if you don't want to move around. The views were scenic and it was easy to navigate around. Great, great bread! The owner Thomas was so down to earth and cool! Peaceful and privacy guaranteed.

It was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had. The house is a traditional Swahili house, with a beautiful terrace and views, a tastefully decorated interior with all the necessary amenities and a well stacked kitchen, which is always a plus with kids. Our host Abadalla is quite simply the best host I’ve ever had - and we travel quite a bit. He was kind, thoughtful and basically carefully planned our entire stay, coordinating tours, recommending awesome local spots and day activities along the way. He took take of it all, from airport pick up, to sunset Dhow, to Lamu tour, he negotiated the prices and made the trip ultra smooth. He also served us beautiful breakfast every morning, with a large variety of fruits, Swahili pastries, omelettes, etc. He also stocked the fridge and made sure we always had drinking water for a very reasonable fee. The nicest and warmest guy, who also shared many special moments with us, and shared stories and history of Lamu as well. We would highly recommend Shela Bliss to anyone. An outstanding experience!

It is such a lovely place that will make your stay in Shela a beautiful memory. Super cozy, spacious, full of light, with all amenities, drinking water, non stop electricity even during power cuts, great ventilation, chilled vibe and above all a constant support by Chris and Reuben, who have been great in all terms and made us feel like home. Our vacation was fantastic! The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa está ubicado en Shela y ofrece alojamiento con una pileta al aire libre, un jardín, salón compartido, wifi gratis y vista a la montaña. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Kizingo Beach Eco Lodge es un alojamiento 4 estrellas ubicado en Lamu, a a pocos pasos de Playa de Kipungani, y tiene un gimnasio, un jardín y un bar. El hotel tiene habitaciones familiares. Exceptional location and the design and spaciousness of the rooms outstanding. Delicious food too.
