The property is located in the north side of the lake which is 20 minutes drive to Menaggio. It’s very calm and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and very standard. The pool is very beautiful with a view over the lake. There are many private parking places at the hotel. The staff are super charming and warm it feels right at home.

Este hotel está situado frente al lago, a 2 minutos a pie del muelle de Varenna. Ocupa un edificio histórico del siglo XIX que alberga una terraza con vistas panorámicas al lago de Como. Everything was excellent. Owner lady was very nice and pleasant. Employees were very kind. Room was clean and well maintained, with beautiful lake view. Breakfast was very tasty. I loved it. Location is good, right in front of the ferry terminal, and only 5 to 6 minutes walk from the Varenna-Esino train station. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

We travelled with a baby and hotel provided us with a room on the ground floor which was very convenient, and the entrance was just from the town square overlooking the lake, wow! 😍 The room itself was charming, a part of ancient building. The best was very comfy! The bathroom had a bit of mold but it didn’t affect our impressions. The staff if very friendly, both in the reception and the restaurant. You should try their pinza with burrata!

They were simply amazing. Kind and caring staff. I was having trouble under the rain while visiting the town centre and the owner called me WORRIED that I could get wet and offered to come and pick me up. I’ve travelled around the world and I’ve never met such caring and helpful owners. They agreed to let me check-in later because of the ferry’s timetable and they let me stay 1 hour after check-out after explaining I had a work call in the morning. This will DEFINITELY be my place to stay again if I visit lake Como. Oh and I almost forgot: they have a free beach with amazing water just 50mt distance and the incredible smell of the food coming from the restaurant nearby that they also own will leave you speechless.
