The host was very friendly and helpful, providing us with recommendations on places to eat and things to do. He also helped us to book taxis, which is not so accessible in the Hualien area.

We were in this hotel when the April 2024 earthquake hit. Even before the earthquake occurred, the hotel staff were wonderful. They let us store our luggage, gave us maps, and helped us to book a driver to Taroko. We were in our room when the earthquake happened and were able to quickly evacuate. There was very little damage. Even though things were very hectic, the owner gave us directions on where to go in order to evacuate for possible tsunami. They also helped with making phone calls, Booking alternate hotels after and with transportation. The hotel staff helped us immeasurably during this whole experience, especially travelling with young children. Thank you so much. You will be in good hands with the great people here.

This is the best place we could ask for in our entire trip in Taiwan. Weather was gloomy and rainy throughout our 9 days trip, and we were a little apprehensive coming to Hua Lien and living by the sea. Once we reached the accommodation, stepped into the reception (Breakfast) area and we were greeted by Miss Huang's cheerfulness, and huge windows with views to the stunning waters. You can see the pacific oceans right in your room, on good days when weather permits the sun rises in this direction. On our last day we also saw beautiful stars. Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of waves, is one of the best thing we can ask for. Toilet seats have warmer option, same for the bed that comes with a little warmer sheet below. It kept us so comfortable. Not to mention, the lady boss makes the best breakfast ever. We will miss her korean style breakfast, filled with so many different fermented vegetables and so good to start the day. Looking forward to return to this space again someday (:

I like the information are useful. They provide the map and traffic around the hotel. Also, they have lots of food are very very very delicious. Stay here 3days. We had totally different foods.its awesome. The room is clean and quiet. Comfortable stay. Breakfast are different for 3 days. This is so sweet service. 7 star service. The staff was super nice. Shuttle service to and from the train station. Great recommendation with consideration for the guests. We used the Hualien Haoxing tour from the Hualien city. It was hot outside. But the people are all so nice to the tourists. They keep the environment very clean.
