Free breakfast at this hostel was amazing! They own the restaurant downstairs, and you get to choose from the breakfast menu! The hostel was very quiet and very few people staying there, but I did not mind. Good place to rest, comfy beds and large rooms! Public bus to Trujillo was just a 2-min walk away on the main street and ran often. Very easy to get to Chan Chan by public bus. Fun to watch the surf competitions at the beach.

Best hostel we came across in Peru. So cosy that you feel like home. Sometimes you just need to have a good rest in a place like this then you you can carry on with your travels like a champ again. The place is so well organised and cosy with all attention to the details for your comfort. Very healthy vibe in there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The owner is awesome dude putting his heart and effort in to this place, making sure that we have great experience and good stay.

Olga our host was amazing, kind, helpful The apartment had every thing you needed , fantastic views of the sea and sunsets We found getting to Chan chan on the local bus and Uber to temple of the sun and the moon easy . Olga found me a drop in yoga class which was great

A really nice, clean and peacefull place. We had 2 different rooms, because we stayed longer as we planed. Both were nice and clean. The two pools are great and extreamly clean. There is a nice kitchen you can use if you want. The place is greate located. Within a few meters you reach the sea. The bus just stops infront of the house. It is verry save and quiet. The beds are verry good. We enjoed our stay there. We could relax but also do some nice trips e.g. Chan Chan . The owners were very friendly and helped out with whatever we needed our wanted to know. Thanks for everything!

My stay at Pointbreak was absolutely incredible! The surf camp is perfectly located, right in front of the best surf spot in Huanchaco. The surf lessons were amazing, even for beginners like me. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and very professional, especially Joan, nacional champion. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, perfect for meeting people from all over the world. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, and some offer stunning ocean views. The large patio and yoga space are a great bonus for relaxing after a session in the waves. On top of that, the team is super welcoming and offers great advice to explore Huanchaco and the surrounding area. It’s a little slice of paradise where I felt completely at home. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay and loved the view – watching the surfers and the setting sun! The staff is really lovely and accommodating, they welcomed us in the early hours after a long bus ride and allowed for a late checkout.
