Beach Hotels in Beruwala

Located close to the beach, the homestay is very welcoming and has a beautiful garden where one can sit and relax. The rooms were clear, equipped with kettle and fridge and very comfortable. Would highly recommend the place. The host is very helpful and prepared a very good breakfast for.us.

We had a fantastic time at Sunny Villa. Sarah and Rosi gave us the impression that we were staying at a family home rather than a guesthouse as soon as we arrived. Both of them are incredibly kind, welcoming, and sincerely helpful they are always smiling and have excellent local advice. The beach, which has good waves for surfing and clear water for swimming, is only a short stroll away, making the location ideal. After long days in the sun, the clean, comfortable rooms and beds were just what we needed. Sunny Villa made us feel welcome in every way. You come here as a visitor and go away feeling like a member of the family. Our stay was better than we could have imagined. Highly recommend!

Photos do not do this homestay justice. Huge bedroom with both A/C and a ceiling fan. Very friendly and helpful owners. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Beautiful place.

what a complete service this hotel had with this staff is amazing. whatever we needed, they arranged everything and with a smile. I needed, for example, help with a birthday party for my wife and they arranged everything and the result was amazing. Owner and personal was amazing, everything was clean,wer quote area,close to the beach,very nice and clean Swimmingpool .As well was great food and very helthy. Sarath, Pearly and their daughter Sachini, not forgetting Sanju the 16 year old dashund are the most charming hosts. We travelled as two couples and were made to feel at home immediately. The guest rooms are on the upper floor, which we had to ourselves with a separate external staircase to access it. We also had use of the fridge in the kitchen at the rear which our delicious breakfasts were prepared in.each day. This is served on the spacious balcony surrounded by tropical trees which attract many species of beautiful birds, chipmonks and fruit bats, ,which is just about the best way we can think of to start the day. Both rooms had private bathrooms, one being ensuite and the other just outside the room, but not a problem at all. The beds were large and comfortable and there was plenty of space for storing our belongings. This was important to us because we'd been travelling around and this was our last base for 10 nights. It was great to finally be able to unpack everything and get organised. In addition to the access door each room also has double doors which open out onto the balcony too. The bathrooms are very clean with powerful separate shower cubicles. Location wise the Villa is positioned only a few hundred yards off the main Galle Road down a narrow side road, but it feels as though you're nowhere near to it as we couldn't hear any traffic noise at all. Continue down the lane past the villa, over the little bridge and meander down the various lanes you can take and within 10 minutes you'll find yourself at the beautiful Moragalla beach. This was our seventh trip to Sri Lanka and we've been fortunate enough to stay in some great places over the years but Beach Gate Villa is definitely in our favourites list. As far as value for money goes it has to be top. We will definitely be back on our next trip. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay x

I would agree with those who said that Sky and Sand are by far the best accommodation in the area. Everything was absolutely perfect: the rooms are even better than in pictures, very beautifully designed, the whole area is peaceful and serene, and of course the service is just fantastic, so special thank you to Samante and Deepa. We also really enjoyed the dinner! Thank you once again for such a warm welcome 🙏🏻

Hospitality of hosts, location and quality all at a good price. Restaurant on premises was excellent and reasonably priced. Hosts even catered for my request for authentic local cuisine.
