Special mention to the consierge Bridgette, very lovely and helpful girl. Shuttle Service Bus perfect as always.

Protea Hotel by Marriott O R Tambo Airport is situated in Kempton Park, 3.5 km from the O.R Tambo International Airport and and 1 km from the Rhodesfield Gautrain Station. Super nice place to stay after a long flight. The staff at the restaurant really went all out to make us comfortable and feeling welcome.

Dove’s Nest is located less than 2 km from OR Tambo Airport and offers a free airport shuttle. It offers a breakfast room overlooking the garden and spacious guest rooms. I am rating this from the perspective of a one-night stay, very convenient, close-to-airport for travellers that are needing an overnight transfer at JNB Tambo airport. It was clean, low-priced, included rides from/to airport, and breakfast. The staff was honest and helpful.

Emerald Guesthouse is located in Kempton Park, just 3 kilometres from the O.R. Tambo International Airport. The property offers a complimentary airport shuttle and free WiFi in public areas. Hourly pick ups from the airport included on the price. Breakfast included and if you leave earlier than 7am they provide a breakfast to go. Hot water, affordable prices for lunch and dinner. Would recommend!

The staff was friendly and so welcoming. Big up to the driver who was on duty that day, he made my trip easy and very accommodating. Same applies to the receptionist she was a lovely person, would obviously come back.
