My e-mail said we had reservations at Rosemont, but our hotel was actually the Cumberland. Could have been much better direction to the hotel. I believe that's on Booking.com which I will most likely never use again. It caused a lot of problems. The hotel at Rosemont seemed nice. Although our group frequent downtown Chicago, Schiller Park was nice. We enjoyed access and frequent visits to the local parks, especially the Des Plaines River Trail. We saw lots of wildlife (deer, raccoons, rabbits) and enjoyed frog sounds at night. For the young athletes there were good things for them to enjoy. There is someone at the front desk 24/7. There may be no convenience store nearby but they do have water, soda and chips for sale for a reasonable price. A very expensive family trip!
A very expensive family trip! We ended up sleeping on separate floors and sweating most of the day due to faulty air conditioner in 1 or our 2 rooms. (78 degrees) We spent our family time making continuous trips to front lobby, packing, moving, or unpacking our belongings and sleeping on sperate floors instead of conjoined rooms. Located very close to the airport Uber & cabs easily available, which made it very east to get around including a trip into downtown Chicago Not many restaurants within walking distance but we appreciated the convenience store & Subway inside the store The was a Q restaurant a short walk away where we had very good meals If we visit the area in the future, I cannot think of anything we would do differently re where to stay, other than perhaps including a night or two in downtown ChicagoGuest review bylindaUnited States - 4.0

Strong smell of marijuana in the lobby and elevator when we checked in Saturday evening. Bed & bathroom were clean bed the carpet made out socks brown. Exposed pipes on the walls in in the sitting room and bedroom. Heater was messed up: there was heat blowing out the front but AC blowing out the top. Good location for our activities. Street view is deplorable….newer hotel is located attched(?) behind a rundown building. The elevator broke down (we heard it does often) and we were on the 7th floor I'm 80 years old with a hip issue, we asked to be moved to the 1st floor but NO, so we got room on the 2nd floor but it was still very difficult to use 2 fights of stairs.
