Situated 5min from the main town center and beach, it's a perfect location for a peaceful stay. Highly recommended if you want to be close to the amenities but want some peace and quiet. It's more suburban with no motels.Guest review byShanNew Zealand - 8.0

Whitianga is a lovely town and felt more relaxed than Whangamata but had all the facilities you would need. The coastline around the area is just ridiculously beautiful. Whitianga was a great base to explore from. I would happily go for another visit.Guest review byDebraAustralia - 6.0

Nice place to visit and relax.
Nice place to visit and relax. Esp if you from busy place Auckland and want peace of mind ya visit whitianga. Just the right place to leave all your stress and come fresh. Nice natural views and warm ocean swim. Love every bit of it.Guest review byshinalNew Zealand - 8.0

Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for our visit but we still did all the things we wanted to do for our trip. A little disappointing that there weren't more choices for cafes eating out, quite limited.Guest review byCaroleNew Zealand - 8.0
Whitianga is a great place to visit.
Whitianga is a great place to visit. If you are traveling from Auckland, the trip is not too far by car but traveling from as far as Wellington might be too far if you're only going to be there for a short period of time. Visiting the Lost Spring Spa is one of the favourites on my list, but there is much more to see & do.Guest review byTraveling SisterNew Zealand
