Glentanner Park is a holiday park and activity centre offering affordable accommodation and panoramic views of Aoraki Mount Cook and Mount Cook National Park. the facilities were great, a nice compound very close to the lake and just 20 minutes from Aoraki National Park

Exceptionel view from the premise. The rooms were really cozy, and the shared kitchen was fully equipped with everything you'd need. The bathrooms were clean and showers great. Definitely worth the drive, even though it takes you on a long gravel-road adventure.

Una menzione speciale molto positiva va all'esperienza di star gazing, in cui si va con un pulmino di sera in una zona buia. Qui ci sono degi esperti che danno interessanti spiegazioni di astronomia e mostrano il cielo con un puntatore laser, per poi far vedere un paio di punti di interesse nell'universo con un bellissimo telescopio professionale. Esperienza di circa un'ora e mezza totale, piuttosto costosa ma che forse rende quasi accettabile questa trappola per turisti.
