On a beautiful location offering views of both the harbour and the Sørøysund strait, is Scandic Hammerfest. This was our third visit to this hotel and we loved it. It has to be the best breakfast I have ever had and nothing is too much trouble first class keep it up.

The winter lake view was mesmerising. I could sit for hours watching it change with the weather and the twilight. The location was very walkable, easy to walk around town, only a few mins to the main street and local shops and supermarket. The property was undergoing renovation - almost completed but the kitchen and bathroom were functional. Laundry and sauna available on request to owner who lived upstairs with family.
