Forewarning: this is a farm offering authentic rustic experience, make sure this is what you are looking for.
Spacious, clean house (rustic buildout), authentic local experience and connection with nature through lush vegetation, sightings and sounds from wildlife, bright stars in the sky, etc.
Hosts working to enable all this and also serving tasty typical food (e. g. traditional soup from veal, increible).
We appreciated the mosquito nets.
A chance to socialize and learn about the lives of other travellers and of the hosts and other local people helping us with our travel.
We found the location very strategic-allowing us to explore the nearby sights (Corcovado, Isla del Caño) and also continue our onward journey to Panama.

We had a very nice time at Morpho House. Due to a last minute cancellation, we had to reserve the house on the very day and Valeria was quick to respond. She also sent us all the useful information. Having been welcomed personally on arrival, we also had a personal check out. There is everything you need in the kitchen as well as a pleasant sitting area. Besides, the bathroom and bedroom are spacious. Altogether, a very comfortable house in a quiet area: we would strongly recommend staying there.

BEAUTIFUL home, amazing design of the house. Super friendly host that organized a taxi for us and was very accommodating. Great breakfast (and a lot of food!). Macaws in the backyard.

I had come to Palmar Norte before to get some money and go to the pharmacy. Also I bought some shorts while there. The town in Grace Bay is one most remote in Costa Rica and had none of the above. Saw plenty of foreigners and Costa Ricans doing the same as for banking and shopping. Also the pills that the pharmacist prescribed for me I was hesitant in taking initially. After two days, I decided to take them and the my skin cleared up. For a short stay Palmar Norte is not bad, especially for catching buses to other Costa Rica cities.
