Beautiful and clean studio-apartment with a lovely little garden and swimming pool. Tebla is a kind host who is also a wildlife guide and gave us good advice for our upcoming travel plans. There is a very kind dog living on the premises.

Excellent value for money. Nothing is broken or dirty. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The AC works. The staff are friendly. The management was very helpful.
I was honestly expecting much worse, for the price.
It's surrounded by smaller houses and dirt roads but it has an electrical fence, although the neighbourhood doesn't look dangerous.
They prepare meals but we didn't try.

Had a car accident getting in to Maun. Staff friendly and accommodating and made a difficult situation easier. A big shout out to Andrew, and Revelation, who even helped out with their personal airtime.

Location was quite far away form most mall in silent lacoation. There was a really perfect manager who always took me to airport, city or for shopping by car, so location was not problem.

We did not stay for long, but for stocking up the twon a good amount of shops and chain stores you may also know from South Africa. Unfortunately, the croc farms seems to have closed down, the local game park was closed for rehabilitation, and the museum was closed for the weekend.

For tourists going into the delta I recommend at least a day...
For tourists going into the delta I recommend at least a day in Maun to check out the local sights and meet some of the locals.
Botswana and Maun in particular see tourists come in and go straight out to the delta, so no added benefit to the residents just a constant flow of people leaving nothing of benefit to the local community
Stop over in a local hotel, there are plenty to suit every ones finances, interact with the local community there is lots to do and see

When you see distance to town center for hotels in Maun,...
When you see distance to town center for hotels in Maun, don't be deceived like I was. Town center is a ratty 4 way stop, nothing you want to be too close to. There are a few places in Maun that may be OK but you have to do your research and they are spread out.
