What a little paradise! Just a short boat trip away from the main island Boipeba (and there is a free shuttle) this place is absolutely peaceful, quite and just loveley! We loved to have a pool and the sea (nice beach in front of the pousada) close by. Breakfast was awesome, huge variety, tried something new every day. Staff is very kind and the dog of the house as well. The area is big enough to find private space even if more guests arrive for the week-end.

Facilities are amazing, very spacious apartments. The view of the grass and the palms on the breakfast is fantastic.
The staff was extremely kind. Always willing to help and with a charming and authentic smile.

A wonderful stay in Javier’s Pousada, I really loved the environment. It was clean and close to multiple beaches. Also it was possible to chose multiple option for the breakfast that was great thank you again Julie. Javier has a lot of recommendations and knows very well the island that is clearly a plus. I will come back with no hesitation.

It is an amazing place, with a very considerate and friendly owner, George! This is the the best place I have stayed since I was in Brazil. You wake up with the birds chirping, amazing full-vegan breakfast with a touch Bahian cuisine. I looked forward to the mornings during my stay. If you are coming to Boipeba, this is the place to stay, I will hopefully come back very soon. Thank you for everything, George, Geison and all the friendly ladies working there!

I recently spent an incredible five days at this charming place and loved every moment! The bedroom balcony offered a breathtaking view, perfect for morning coffees and evening relaxation. The garden was lush with a variety of plants, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere, and the stunning colourful wild birds added a magical touch to the whole experience.
Caroline, the host, was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. And her breakfasts? Simply the best I’ve ever had! Every morning, Caroline prepared a different selection of organic and unbelievably delicious options. I’m not kidding when I say that her breakfasts were a highlight of my stay.

Boipeba is just a paradise.
Boipeba is just a paradise. I was very impressed by the organization of the excursions, they have a strict control over how many people are going to the touristic places and I really appreciate that.
There are several options for restaurants and they are very careful with food allergies and preferences, such as vegan and vegetarian. The center of Boipeba's village is calm, clean and really cute.
Waters are crystal clear and warm. I'd recommend a boat trip around the island, but also to have one day to walk from one beach to the other, especially the path to get to Moreré, which is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen in my life. It's good either for a romantic scape or to go with the family. I'm not sure if it's a good destination for seniors, as most of the beaches are far away and some hiking skills are needed. We got there from Salvador by personal transfer (ferry to Vera Cruz, then a 2 hour car ride, then another ferry from Valença to Boipeba), it took us around 5 hours to do so.

We loved the natural beauty and stunning beaches alongside small town rustic charm - having no cars is a massive bonus! And seeing the locals' horses taking themselves out for a walk in the evening is so charming. But although the place is quiet and the beaches untouched there is also a fantastic range of restaurants and bars to choose from! Boipeba is also completely safe and the local people are really friendly and helpful. This is the perfect beach holiday location!

Boipeba is tropical paradise, all that you can imagine. Right now it is still not overdeveloped, but I guess that if people like me keep writing amazing reviews of the island it will end up being overdeveloped and commercialised. I hope that it will not happened and continues to have the enchanting tropical paradise factor.
The worse thing for me about the island is the amount of rubbish around. I hope locals can see how bad it is one of these days and it can be cleaned up a little bit.
