Modest facilities that catered to our requirements. We were left to enjoy ourselves and wander around the property exploring the grounds. Although the pool was closed we can imagine how lovely it'd be in summer! The electric blankets were awesome!

A new bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and well kept and was the right size for me and the wife who in some hotels we stayed in didn't bump into each other.

The room was delightful; invoking images in my mind of the gracious rooms of an earlier era , a little sample of life in a quieter and more simple way of life but with modern conveniences. I'm looking forward o my next visit .
