Set in an idyllic location directly on the shore of Lake Chiemsee, the 3-star superior Hotel Schlossblick offers panoramic views and hearty Bavarian food. Good hotel to visit Herrenchiemsee. Everything was good during our stay, but a special mention has to made about the breakfast. At all my travels in hotels during 40 years, I have never seen such an abundant breakfast, enormous amount of choice, all fresh (also the scrambled eggs), top quality breads, jelly’s, fruits and yogurts. Even Hyatts, Hiltons and Marriott’s can learn something from this.

Excellent standard of accommodation, better than I expected. There was a well stocked kitchen and spacing living room with access to a garden. Excellent views. No noise so we were able to rest well. There was somewhere to park out bikes in a securely locked garage. The host was extremely kind and responsive to all questions. The cleanliness level was high, and bathroom was very modern and spacious. A baby bed was brought into our room which was perfectly suited to our child.

The room was very clean with a very nice and large bathroom. The location was very quiet, but in the small town of Ubersee, a short drive to Lake Chiemsee and about a 1 hour drive to Berchtesgaden National park.

The Hostess was incredibly friendly! It was the first time that staying for one night not in ****/***** hotel, I was offered a free of charge beer upon arrival. Very tasty breakfast buffet. When leaving, the Hostess offered us free sandwiches for our onward journey!

Pension Langerspacher está en Grabenstätt, a 22 km de Max Aicher Arena y a 26 km de Herrenchiemsee. The owners/managers gave us an excellent breakfast and while language was a bit difficult sometimes, the mother (don’t know which her name was) went out of her way to engage us in conversation in spite of the fact my German is poor and her English non-existent. Her daughter was very attentive and, when I asked for a few extra towels, the house cleaner was very friendly and obliging. All-in-all, this place ended up being a very nice place to stay. Loved the beautiful stairway!

Cafe Wastelbauerhof - Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof se encuentra en Bernau am Chiemsee, en la región de Baviera, a 18 km de Herrenchiemsee. The location is great, just outside of the city but there are no cars and you can leave your kids play around. There are many kids facilities, including indoor kids room which is great. The rooms are clean and we'll equipped with what you need. There is a small kitchen, very well equipped. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was good. The kids really liked that there closiness to animals - cows, horses, bunnies.

The delux apartment was very clean, location was very peaceful, close to nature. One can lay in the garden and see amazing view of lake and mountain. Breakfast was exellent and hotel staffs were very kind and polite. I will definately stay in this hotel if I come to Chimsee again.
