We visited Åre for a week to ski in early April. The hosts were very flexible with the arrival time and communication was easy. The apartment was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well equiped for home cooked meals. Remember to bring your own linens but you can also rent them from the host. MårtenLiens Gård is a walking distance away from the VM8 ski lift but unfortunately for us, there was no snow in the valley so we coudn't ski-in/ski-out. It is also a walking distance away from the the town with all the shops and restaurants. We had a rental car so having a car park was great.

Breakfast was superb and staff really kind.

I loved the capacious lobby with three-story fireplace. Shops(grocery, gifts, soprt goods) are reachable within building. Rooms are equiped with dryer-closets for winter or rainy season.

Storlien Högfjällshotell AB cuenta con un jardín, terraza, un restaurante y bar en Storlien. Un sauna y un servicio de renta de equipos de esquí están disponibles para sus huéspedes. The hotel is in a fabulous position overlooking the countryside in Storlien. We were made very welcome and enjoyed our stay. The copper bar is especially nice, having had a recent refurbishment , like many other parts of the hotel.The hotel's history is very evident .

El Vålådalens Fjällstation está a 100 metros de los remontes de la estación de esquí de Vålådalen y a 50 metros de las pistas de esquí de fondo. Beautiful location with wonderful staff and great service. I will most definitely visit again.

Situado en Edsåsdalen y con Åre Train Station a 21 km, Renfjällsgården cuenta con bicis gratuitas, habitaciones para no fumadores, WiFi gratis y un salón compartido. Nos gustó las partes compartidas, había una sala para secar la ropa, y el ambiente era muy acogedor. El restaurante del hotel de al lado era muy bueno. Felicidades al chef. Además en el “hostel” había varios salones. El acceso a la sauna y la piscina del hotel fue un plus.
