Great location near Parque de la Marimba, where you can enjoy beautiful live marimba music played by a full orchestra—it’s a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, and there’s a small but well-equipped gym with a treadmill, bike, elliptical, and some dumbbells. Breakfast is nice, though I wish they had ketchup! Secure parking is available. The security guard was especially helpful, friendly, and spoke English. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk didn’t speak English, but she was still very kind and welcoming. Overall, a great stay.

Since the beginning, the staff was amazingly kind and willing to help with any request I had. The check-in experience was smooth and made me feel welcome. Ofreciendo una alberca, un jardín, una terraza y vistas a la alberca, Casa Cactus Buenavista está establecido en Bacalar y ofrece hospedaje con WiFi gratis. Jasmin and Sebastian were lovely hosts and made our stay at Casa Cactus in Buenavista unforgettable. Everything is to like about Casa Cactus, from the carefully decorated room, to the food that is creative, delicious and fresh, to the garden with beautiful plants, a pool to refresh and attentive staff. To make the most of Casa Cactus I recommend having your own car (although the hosts can help with arranging a taxi). The place is perfect if you are looking to relax, lay back and enjoy nature, but also be able to get to more lively places like Bacalar which is 20-30 mins by car. Jasmin and Sebastian made everything to ensure our stay would be perfect and gave us great advice on things to do and visit to get a real authentic experience. (They suggested a nearby spot for a beach day on the lagoon. The spot was secluded, and felt very intimate and private, with the jungle in the background, it was a bless compared to the crowds in Bacalar. Furthermore Buenavista is a perfect spot to visit Bacalar, but also other attractions nearby like Mahahual, a town on the Caribbean side, the ruins of Chacchoben or doing guided jungle tour.) Be aware there's not much choice for eating out in Buenavista, but you won't need it with the delicious food prepared by Jasmin. We preferred having dinner at Casa Cactus because of how good it was. Me and my girlfriend had the best stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Ubicado en El Paredón Buena Vista, a 2 minutos a pie de El Paredon Beach, SHANTI SURF CAMP tiene hospedaje con WiFi gratis, aire acondicionado, y acceso a un jardín con una alberca al aire libre. El desayuno fue muy rico, la atención excelente, la limpieza buena, la piscina deliciosa. Sin duda nos volveríamos a hospedar aquí.

Posada Real de Chiapas cuenta con un jardín, salón compartido, una terraza y restaurante en San Cristóbal de Las Casas. Este hotel de 4 estrellas ofrece un bar. Excelente ubicación, tranquilo, bonita decoración y gente amable. Es muy recomendable este hotel.

Situado en San Cristóbal de Las Casas y con San Cristobal Cathedral a menos de 1 km, Tierra Alta Hostal cuenta con un mostrador de información turística, habitaciones para no fumadores, un jardín,... We loved it! Super clean, close to the center, hot water 24/7, fully equipped kitchen, great internet, excellent service and staff attention – 10 out of 10. We immediately felt at home. There's always coffee, tea, and cookies in the kitchen, and they let us check in early and check out a bit later. They even have ping pong! A wonderful place you'd want to come back to. Special thanks to the staff for their care and attention. 10/10
