Great position in the Medina, we had 6 beds in our 3 level apartment, great, as the double bed was small, so husband and i had our own room. Great breakfast, really lovely staff, good English and most helpful. 30 mad for the porter to Bab Assisi with our luggage (the nearest gate for a taxi to the station) fantastic music museum...spend 4 hours there if you love traditional desert music, dance, the palace it is housed in, Berber clothing and jewelry . Great local souk next to the museum, all 5 mins walk from the riad. Great courtyard for chilling in the day or night. . Beware Aisha restaurant food...tasty but not good for my belly the next day, twice. Though my husband was ok.... Great town,

Featuring a garden, barbecue facilities and views of mountain, Kasabah Senhaji is set in Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, 3.7 km from Volubilis. The Kasbah is exceptionally good and was beyond my expectations. It has a homely feel and is immaculately clean, but more than that, the landlady made me feel welcome from the very first moment. The rooms and the entire building has its own character, and you immediately feel comfortable, and being able to sit on the large patio enjoying the view or the sun is priceless. And the food... I have not been able to finish any of the meals I have had, and I am a big eater. The meals are Moroccan and are beautiful. And the Tajine is the best I've tasted in Morocco. Initially I only planned to stay three nights - but I stayed for an extra night. I am so glad I stayed here.

The hotel was amazing , swimming pool and a big private car park just in front of the hotel for safe parking which was great for parking my motorcycle and I could leave the luggage on it ,, the staff was the best ever he even took the time to order me take away from down town and had it delivered to the hotel for me ( had a long day on the motorcycle and didn’t fancy riding into town for food ) he couldn’t do enough, it’s an amazing hotel and everything you’ll ever need 👌👌

30 km from Volubilis in Meknès, DAR ALKATIB MEKNES features accommodation with access to beauty services and solarium. all riads are not equal! this property was by far the best riad stay of my recent trip to morocco. the owner/host was charming and very helpful. the property was both beautiful and confortable. i'd reccommend dar alkatib to anyone planning a visit to meknes.
