Rooms were clean comfortable and had everything you need. Pool was clean, large and perfect. Value is AMAZING! We did the safari, 4 hours, by ourselves. I could not believe the price. In fact, the whole two day stay there is what we spend on a meal out at home in Bangkok. Just fantastic. And then we had a change of plans that meant we could not stay the extra night we booked. They were wonderful and didn’t charge us. In December! The busiest time of the year. Again, just stay here!

Establecido en Udawalawe, a 20 km de Udawalawe National Park, Vimanra Udawalawa ofrece hospedaje con una alberca al aire libre, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, un jardín y una terraza. La experiencia en Vimanra fue de las mejores en Sri Lanka. Las instalaciones son perfectas, muy cuidadas y limpias. La piscina es espectacular y el entorno en plena selva muy bonito. El desayuno de 10 con mucha variedad y los mejores coconut pancakes que he probado ( y han sido muchos). El anfitrión nos ayudó en todo momento. Nos gestionó un safari en poco tiempo ( con un guía súper agradable y honrado, nos dejamos dinero en el jeep y el móvil y nos llamó en seguida para devolvérnoslo) y un viaje a Sri Padaya mientras nos guardaba nuestro tuk tuk y maletas en su hotel. No podemos decir nada negativo, porque no lo hubo. Relación calidad-precio excelente. Mil gracias por todo! Esperamos volver!!

We are Paola and Silvano from Italy, travelling through Sri Lanka by bicycle. We spent three nights at Ibis and were welcomed by Sarangha as if we were family. Sarangha and her husband Sarath are very kind and helpful people, always smiling. Sarangha took care of us with grace and kindness, always ready to respond to every need, from the tuk tuk to the safari. The most important thing is that she told us that she could organize it for us at a good price (excluding the entrance ticket to the park) but without any obligation, initially we did not want to organize it and instead, after visiting the Elephant Transit Home, we changed our minds, it was an excellent choice and also the person who accompanied us was kind and trustworthy. We also had dinner at Ibis, very tasty home made meals and also a good breakfast. The room was confortable clean and spacious, we chose the one at ground floor, but there are also at the first floor with balcony. We also could do the laundry. We didn't use the pool, but it's very scenic and relaxing even if you don't want to swim. We also had some time to talk with Sarangha and Sarath and it was really interesting share some experiences with this lovely family. Thank you very much for everything!

The lodge is excellent, the best quiet environment I had in Sri Lanka, the jacuzzi tub is perfect for a dip after a long safari. The owner and staff are very friendly. The lodge also organized my private safari and my guide, driver Janaka, was excellent. I actually liked my Udawalawe safari better than the one I did in Yala.
