The location right next to the Geysir made this Hotel perfect for a stay during our 3 day stopover in Iceland. However, once on site - the hotel exceeded our expectations! The spacious architecture of the building is very impressive with a very stylish nordic interior design. The room was nice and had a very comfortable bed. Dinner and breakfast were excellent - do not forget to try the Geysir Bread! The staff were outstanding - very friendly and helpful. A big tanks to Georgiana who helped me get back my scarf that I forgot in the room. Wished we could have stayed there longer.

This little piece of Eden is situated in the middle of nowhere, yet it's extremely easily approachable. Beautiful calm environment, with direct view of the Aurora (when it happens of course). It was very clean and calm, especially the slow mornings with the sunrise. The house is on flat area, so it's easy to maneuver, but you're surrounded with mountains, so the view is great. The colors of the sun in this part of the countryside was truly beautiful.

Located just 43 km from Thingvellir National Park, SKOLO Apartment features accommodation in Selfoss with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as full-day security. Spacious, quiet, home like apartment. We can find all we need. Although it is not real kitchen, having oven and fridge are great and enough for us. Hosts are kind and responsive, living in the same house. As it's not real separate apartment, guests and hosts are indeed sharing living up&downstairs. Therefore one may hear each other if anyone is loud. But it's not really a big deal for us. We appreciate for the accommodation.
