The location and views are simply amazing, close to many interesting spots (such as Lækjavik, Meleyri beach, Nykurhylsfoss and much more). The staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Spacious, very clean rooms with fully equipped kitchen and modern decoration. The resort offers spa facilities. The staff was polite and very friendly, especially Nicol.

Great room and great location. Breakfast was MASSIVE, great value for the price. Views were amazing. Would definitely recommend and would book again for sure.

Set in a renovated farmhouse, this guest house is located by Lake Lagarfljót in Eglisstadir village. Chris and Rafael were very helpful and nice! The hotel is charming and has a beautiful view over the lake. Breakfast is a delight!

Berjaya Hérað Hotel is situated in Egilsstadir, 5 km from Lagarfljot River. It offers a terrace bar and 24-hour room service. All rooms have Wi-Fi, satellite TV and wooden floors. The Greek girl in the reception was really helpful! Clean and comfort room. Great location

Set in Skjöldólfsstaðir, Hotel Studlagil offers 3-star accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel features family rooms. At the hotel, all rooms come with a desk. Good breakfast with everything needed. The staff was really nice and they even offered some traditional Icelandic cake at the end! The room was big, clean and tidy. This is really near the Stuðlagil Canyon so I recommend staying here if this is you first or last stop in the day.

The Bank Sleeping Guesthouse in Neskaupstaður features a garden and a shared lounge. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The room was amazing with very comfy beds. Nice interior in general, warm and welcoming. The baths were also amazing, clean and with lots of facilities. Overall it exceeded all our expectations, it was a very enjoyable stay!

By Iceland’s easternmost fjord Neskaupstadur, this aparthotel features modern Scandinavian style decór and panoramic fjord views from the balcony. 3 bedrooms. Fully equiped kitchen. Parking right outside our door. Lots of room for storage. Remote location right on the water between two mountains. Drove to the edge of town, walked down a trail at night and saw the Northern Lights!
